Kevin Wood sings "Save Me A Seat"

In the upcoming production of "The Last Session" at the Spirit of Broadway Theater in Norwich Connecticut Gideon will be played by Kevin Wood who came here for a rehearsal. Here he is trying out "Save Me A Seat." What a voice! He's going to be wonderful.

I love the way you sing my songs, Devin. He sings my songs the way *I* wish I could sing my songs.

He seemed to be singing your song the way you did; the way you wrote it; the way it should be sung.
He is good and if he is any indication, this production will be a good one!
You should to try another run at Broadway by staying true to the way you wrote it.

Anonymous, Kevin actually has his own special flavor, both in some of his chord choices and his vocal inflections. I encouraged him to sing it as if he wrote it. What I think you're hearing is the fact that we both have the same musical sensibilities in so many ways.

That's what makes me excited about his approach. It feels like he's been singing these songs his whole life.
